Product Description
Thermoforming hygienic PVC involves heating a precise, narrow strip area of a sheet until it becomes soft and pliable. This allows installers to precision bend the sheet to fit around corners and recesses.
Cladding Warehouse has hand-picked this proven 110v Thermoformer (line bender) made by a British manufacturer. It must be operated responsibly by a trained trade installer.
The machine has a clearly labelled thermostat wheel/knob which can be adjusted to deliver the required temperature along the length of the heated element within the machine.
PVC sheets can be bent to almost any angle using the Thermoformer. Measure and mark the fold line on the PVC sheet then bend the sheet by hand when the fold line has reached the correct temperature.
The sheet should be held at the required angle while it cools and it will set firmly to create a robust and hygienic PVC cladded corner. Hygiene-critical environments specify thermoformed corners because they do not harbour germs and are less vulnerable to impacts than trimmed and seamed corners.
